Thanks to the fact that it belongs to a group, AVA Clinic benefits from the research and collaboration between all the other group clinics, so that new techniques can be introduced fast. Proven experience 

The AVA Clinic group centres carry out over 4,000 in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatments every year. In addition, they perform many other treatments, such as induced ovulation, artificial insemination, sperm donation, egg donation and frozen embryo transfer.  

Pioneer in male infertility treatment 

AVA Clinic is also a reference in medically assisted reproduction (MAR) on an European level. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a technique that revolutionised male infertility treatment. It was carried out for the first time in Europe at the AVA Clinic in Tampere, Finland.  

Centre of reference 

The AVA Clinic in Portugal was the first medically assisted reproduction centre to set up a regular egg donation programme. Today, we are still a centre of reference for successful sperm, egg and embryo donation for eligible clinical situations.  

Specialised, multidisciplinary team 

The AVA Clinic has physicians recognised by the Medical Association, in the sub-specialist of reproductive medicine. All its embryologists have been accredited as clinical embryologists by ESHRE, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.  

We have a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, nurses and embryologists who are specially trained in reproductive medicine. This allows us to address problems rapidly and provide an efficient response.
