“When the news of infertility came up in our life it was like the whole world fell at our feet…”

Being parents was for us much more than a dream… it was part of our life project. AVA Clinic appeared on our way in a desperate search for help to solve our problem… and today we recognize that there was a divine hand that put us on this path.

The process (ICSI) was not easy, but thanks to the high professionalism of the entire team at AVA Clinic, everything went well, and the end of this story was the happiest possible.

There’s a phrase in a fado song that marked our life forever – ” there are days that mark the soul and life of people…” The 1^st and 14^th of October 2010 and the 23^rd of May 2011 are three dates that are forever recorded in our lives.

1^st of October – embryo transfer day
14^th of October – day when we got the news “Congratulations, you are pregnant”
23^rd of May – date of birth of our prince

When we heard the heart of our prince for the first time we couldn’t contain the joy, and our hearts really wanted to explode with happiness.
Today we have a beautiful, wonderful boy. A much desired and loved son!

Our most sincere thanks go to the whole team at AVA Clinic, especially to Dr. José Cunha, to the embryologist Ricardo Miguel and to the embryologist João Lourenço (uncle João).

In addition to fulfilling our greatest dream, AVA Clinic also put in our way wonderful people, friends who entered our lives and we will never let out, like the embryologist João Lourenço, whom today we call uncle João. If there are people in the world with a huge heart and able to perform miracles, these people work at AVA Clinic.

Another fundamental pillar in this process was our family and our friends, who were always by our side, never letting us lose faith and always forcing us to believe that God exists and he was with us on our journey. Thank you all!
